Los Llamados — Trends of the Spirit 2027
Each year it will bring together relevant voices from very different fields —business, science, culture, thought, technology, education or religion— to answer, from their own experience, a single question: what place will spirituality hold in the time ahead.
What Los Llamados is
LOS LLAMADOS (The Called) was born to observe something that rarely sits at the centre of conversations about the future: how our relationship with the spirit, meaning and transcendence is changing.
Each year it will bring together relevant voices from very different fields —business, science, culture, thought, technology, education or religion— to answer, from their own experience, a single question: what place will spirituality hold in the time ahead.
Why this name
"The called" are those who have been invited to take part. But the name also points to another call, more intimate and harder to define: the one that, at certain moments, invites a person to look beyond the immediate.
For some, that call will have a religious name. For others it will be consciousness, purpose, intuition, humanity or a search for meaning. We do not aim to unify those experiences or to set a shared truth. We want to listen to them.
A photograph of each time
Perhaps one of the deepest transformations of our time is not happening only in technology, the economy or society, but also in the way we ask ourselves who we are, what has value and how we want to live.
LOS LLAMADOS — Trends of the Spirit aims to become a yearly reference on that quiet transformation:
- A photograph of each time.
- An archive of voices.
- An open observation of the evolution of human consciousness.
An open call
LOS LLAMADOS does not presuppose faith, religion or any particular idea of spirituality. It welcomes religious, agnostic, philosophical and scientific voices, and voices far from any spiritual tradition. It does not gather people because they hold a spiritual truth, but because they have something true to say from their own experience.
The people invited to the 2027 edition receive an invitation by email. If you feel your voice belongs in this conversation, you can ask to take part with the form below. The Foundation reviews each request and writes to those who fit the edition.
Because a call does not belong only to the one who makes it. It also belongs to the one who decides to listen.
