Davo Ruiz, guide at Fundación El Templo
Teacher · Executive Director

Who he is

Davo Ruiz is an entrepreneur, communicator and builder of purpose-driven projects, as well as a founding trustee and the executive director of Fundación El Templo.

Trained as a teacher of religion and a student of different traditions and currents of spiritual thought, he writes and reflects on God and the meaning of existence from a free, open outlook, far from any doctrine. In the message of Jesus he finds an essential inspiration: to love, to forgive, to serve, and to recognise the same worth and dignity in every person.

What brought him here

His career has led him to lead teams, drive large projects and connect people across business, institutions, technology and the social sector. His deepest lessons, however, also come from his mistakes, losses, crises and fresh starts.

His encounter with A Course in Miracles widened his understanding of forgiveness, of inner peace, and of the possibility of choosing a different way of looking at whatever happens to us.

How he accompanies

Davo doesn't accompany from perfection, and he doesn't claim to hold all the answers. He does it from lived experience, from knowledge, from listening, and from a sincere love for people. He believes in goodness, in generosity, and in a love that asks for nothing in return, except the chance to generate more love.

For him, being a teacher is not about telling others what to believe or which way to walk, but about helping them look within, recover their peace and find their own path.

At the Foundation

As a founding trustee and executive director, Davo holds the everyday life of the project and accompanies its activities within the same frame as the other teachers: absolute respect for each person's freedom, an absence of dogma, and humility.
